It is a two hour, cash-only market showcasing businesses created by children ages 6-14. The market is open to the public with the goal being to equip and inspire young entrepreneurs within a safe and encouraging environment.
In 2026 we have markets being held in the following locations:
Goderich - October 24, 2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm YMCA
Clinton - November 7th, 2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm Libro Hall Community Centre
The market provides children with an opportunity to pursue their interests, learn more about themselves and the world around them, and gain skills that will benefit them for a lifetime! Children can walk away with greater:
⭐️Perseverance
⭐️Financial literacy
⭐️Communication skills
⭐️Time management
⭐️Confidence
⭐️Critical thinking
and so much more!
We want this to be the best possible experience for your child! For the sake of getting the most out of it we ask that parents let their child set up their own booth and conduct customer interactions and sales themselves. However, parents can absolutely coach, guide and encourage their child through the process! We know every child is different and trust that parents know how to support their child best. ***Please note that businesses will be disqualified from winning an award if adults are seen selling items for their child.
